Night Vision Mode — How It Works

The MIC-D1014 enables soldiers to operate securely in total darkness. In NVIS mode (0.03 nits), the display emits a soft blue-tone image with suppressed infrared (IR) radiation, making it nearly invisible during covert operations. With one-click switching, operators can transition instantly between:

  • Day Mode — Full-color, high-brightness display up to 1000 nits for daylight use
  • NVIS Mode — Soft blue-tone, ultra-low brightness to 0.03 nits for night vision compatibility


This capability ensures uncompromising performance and safety across all lighting environments.
