RMA Service

Warranty Policy

1. Standard Warranty

ACT Power provides a one-year standard warranty for all products sold, commencing from the date of shipment. The warranty covers replacement of defective parts and repair labor for failures determined to be attributable to the product itself.

Extended warranty service may be available upon request and will be evaluated separately based on the product model, project conditions, and scope of service.

2. Warranty Service

If a product fails during the warranty period, the customer must first apply for an RMA number from ACT Power in accordance with the RMA procedure and return the defective product to the designated service center.

Upon receipt of the product, ACT Power will inspect it and determine the cause of failure. If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, ACT Power will repair the product or replace the defective parts.

After the repair is completed, ACT Power will return the product to the address designated by the customer using the shipping method agreed upon by both parties.

3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

The following conditions are not eligible for free warranty service. ACT Power may provide a quotation for chargeable repair services based on the inspection results:

3-1. The product is outside the warranty period.

3-2. The product serial number, warranty label, or other identification marking has been torn, altered, removed, damaged, or rendered illegible.

3-3.  The product has been disassembled, modified, repaired, or had parts replaced by personnel not authorized by ACT Power.

3-4.  Damage caused by use that does not comply with the product specifications, user manual, or ACT Power recommendations, or by operation in abnormal or unsuitable environments.

3-5. Damage caused by external force, impact, dropping, liquid ingress, corrosion, foreign-object intrusion, abnormal power supply, incorrect wiring, or other human-related factors.

3-6. Damage caused by natural disasters or force majeure events, including but not limited to fire, flood, lightning, earthquake, or similar events.

3-7. Failure caused by the use of parts, accessories, consumables, software, or peripheral devices that are not approved by ACT Power or are incompatible with the product.

4. RMA Application and Repair Process

Step 1. Apply for an RMA Number:

Contact the ACT Power service team to submit an RMA request, and return the items within 30 days of receiving the RMA number. If overdue, a new RMA number must be re-applied for before processing. Please do not send back products directly without obtaining an RMA number.

Step 2. Provide Required Information:

Please provide the customer’s name, contact information, product model, serial number, purchase or shipment information, a detailed description of the failure, operating conditions, and any basic troubleshooting already performed.

Step 3. Return the Defective Product:

After obtaining the RMA number, securely package the product and clearly mark the RMA number on the outer carton or shipping documents before sending it to the service center designated by ACT Power.

Step 4. Inspection and Service:

ACT Power will inspect the product upon receipt. If the issue is covered under warranty, ACT Power will repair the product or replace the defective parts as appropriate. If the issue is not covered under warranty or the warranty period has expired, chargeable repair service will be performed only after obtaining the customer’s approval.

Step 5. Product Return:

After the repair is completed, ACT Power will notify the customer and arrange for the product to be returned.

5. Shipping and Other Charges

For repairs covered under the standard warranty, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost of returning the defective product to the service center designated by ACT Power. ACT Power will cover the standard shipping cost of returning the repaired product to the customer.

If inspection confirms that the product is not covered under warranty, is outside the warranty period, or no fault is found, ACT Power may charge inspection, repair, replacement-part, and related shipping fees as applicable.

6. Data Backup and Limitation of Liability

Before returning a product for service, the customer must back up all important data and remove any confidential, personal, or otherwise sensitive information.

Repair, inspection, parts replacement, or system reset may result in loss or corruption of data or deletion of system settings. ACT Power shall not be liable for any loss, damage, disclosure, or inability to recover data stored in the returned product.

If troubleshooting requires reinstallation of the operating system, firmware updates, or restoration of factory settings, ACT Power may perform such actions to the extent necessary to complete the repair.

Note

The actual warranty terms shall be governed by the formal quotation, purchase order, contract, or project-specific agreement. In the event of any inconsistency, the latest written agreement between both parties shall prevail.
