Rugged Vehicle Display Solution for Special Function Vehicles
Background
In US market, there is a requirement to use the vehicle monitor in the special function vehicle. The monitor will be needed to connect to the USB-C cell phone or other BOX PC in such kind of application. It has to be rugged, strong and reliable.

Stable DC input from the vehicle.
High Brightness of 1000nits for sun-light readable. Also night mode (Low brightness display mode) is required for the mission.
Operates under -20°C to 70°C.
Monitor can be a USB hub to support driver’s/ user’s devices to be connected. For examples, Keyboard, charging device, etc.
Weight concern on the arm installation.
Solution
11-16 VDC input to prevent unstable power.
Integrated with special heat sink solution for to prevent over-heat under 1000nits. Special night mode as <20nits can be activate by the buttons.
Operates under -20°C to 70°C. Also comply to MIL-STD-810G shock & Vibration standard for vehicle application.
Monitor integrated with USB hub to provide external interfaces. Available for HDMI, VGA, USB inputs. Touch function can be activated by the USB connection.
8 inch model, <900g. 13.3 inch model, 3.5kg. Meeting installation requirement.
